Some hearts might have been broken when word go out that Toronto captain Dion Phaneuf was dating the ever-lovely Elisha Cuthbert, but at a recent party the pair broke some serious news when they announced their engagement.
The two have been dating since May of 2008 and ever since, Elisha can be seen frequently whenever and wherever Phanuef laces up the skates. Now no one will argue that to look at them they make an odd pair because let's face it... Phaneuf's not the best looking guy out there but the two have been inseparable since their relationship began and you can always see them enjoying each other's company no matter what they're doing be it a trip to some tropical beach, or supporting the many charity dinners and other benefits that they support.
So to the happy couple I'd like to extend my best wishes as I'm sure the rest of the readers will as well.
